Vacancy Announcement: Youth Coordinator
All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi seeks to recruit a dedicated and experienced Youth Coordinator. The Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical support to the Youth & Young Adults Ministry. Responsibilities include coordinating Sunday Youth programs, special events, and services. Join our team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our youth and young adults.
The Youth Coordinator reports to the HOD Youth and young Adults.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide administrative support to the Youth and Young Adults Department.
2. Schedule, plan and execute strategic youth programs and events in liason with the HOD.
3. Co-ordinate preparation and execution of Sunday and weekday worship services.
4. Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of youth volunteers and maintain a database for the same.
5. Assist in budget tracking and ensure optimal utilization of resources for programs and events.
6. Build relationships with youth participants and provide mentorship and support.
7. Prepare content for ASC newsletter and social media platforms.
8. Prepare periodic minutes, reports and documentation for meetings and presentations.
9. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the HOD.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
•Diploma in Theology/Divinity or Ministry related training.
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
•Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Experience in event planning and coordination.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•Passion for working with youth and young adults.
•Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
•Training in Anglicanism is an added advantage.

All Saint’s Cathedral Sacco is a community-based SACCO currently drawing its members largely from All Saints Cathedral Church. The SACCO is registered under the Cooperatives’ Societies’ Act No 12 of 1997 of the Laws of Kenya and is therefore governed by the Act, Cooperative rules of the Society By-laws.
All Saints Cathedral Sacco was started in the year 2009 with a number of Registered Congregants of All Saints Cathedral Church mainly Sunday School Teachers who included Philip Njuki, Prof. Elijah Ndegwa from University of Nairobi and Paul Kabugi from Ministry of Co-operative by then. We also had Rev. Catherine Njagi as the All Saints Cathedral Church Representative. Its vision was to empower the All Saints Cathedral Registered Christian Members with improved access to affordable and sustainable financial service.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Sacco Board of Directors. The Digital Marketing and sales Intern will play a crucial role in developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and supporting various marketing initiatives. This role offers a hands-on experience in digital marketing within the technology industry, allowing the intern to contribute ideas and gain valuable skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing and growing our presence across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tik Tok and Instagram.
Building Prosperity Together - Monitor social media channels for industry trends, news, and relevant conversations.
- Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the Sacco staff to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas aligned with our brand and marketing goals.
- Produce high-quality written and visual content for social media posts, blog articles, infographics, videos, and other marketing materials.
- Conduct research to gather insights and data for content creation, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Help track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and sales materials as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
- Sales:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor strategies.
- Support the sales team in lead generation, prospecting, and customer relationship management activities.
- Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other sales collateral.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and sales departments, including data entry, file organization, and document management.

Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications and any business related courses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Basic understanding of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for technology and willingness to learn about the IT software industry.
- Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or marketing is a plus but not required.

- Collaborating with Auditors During Audits:
- Coordinate with projects and external auditors during audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

- Ensuring Accurate and Up-to-date Financial Records:
- Maintain an organized system for storing financial records and documents, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality as per organizational policies.

- Assisting in the Preparation of Financial Analysis and Reports:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA,) is a must.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in grant management or the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and grant management practices.
- Proficiency in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
